Since being established in 2007, Lotus has been on the leading edge of using multiple benefit analysis to evaluate green and gray infrastructure improvements and develop long-term municipal improvement plans. This has included quantifying social and environmental benefits, while evaluating proposed projects against city goals related to water supply, water quality, flood reduction, and climate change resiliency. It has also included developing multi-faceted, innovative outreach approaches to educate and integrate a diverse array of stakeholders. Lotus’ recent projects include integrated planning for Seattle Public Utilities, City of San Jose, San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, King County Wastewater Treatment Division, and the County of San Mateo.
